About the Homesteads Development
The Homesteads development at Teton Village currently consists of nineteen total units. Sales, resales, and compliance for 15 of these units are managed by the Housing Department. Sales, resales, and compliance for four of these units are managed by Habitat for Humanity.
Construction for these units occured between October 2017 and December 2018. Eleven Employment-based homes and eight Affordable homes were built. All of these homes are three-bedroom two-bath homes with one car garages.
Two of the Employment-based* units were reserved for Critical Services Providers within the Sheriff's Department. The other Employment-based* units were reserved for businesses in Teton Village and local non-profits. For those homes, each businesses had a "business option" to hand select a household out of their employees to purchase each unit. The Affordable homes were filled through the Housing Department's Weighted Drawing Process.
