Kid’s Club After School Program

School Year 2009-2010

 

Grades K - 5

Need a safe and fun place for your child to go afterschool? The Kid’s Club Afterschool Program is available for children in Kindergarten through fifth grade.  

 

Registration               Children must be registered at the recreation center before attending. Children may be registered up until 2:00 p.m. the day of attendance. Registrations after 2:00 p.m. will be charged an additional $5.00. Child record forms and permission slips must be signed at the time of registration. Days must be reserved in advance.

 

Program Description     Kid’s Club provides a safe, creative alternative for children while parents are at work. Kid’s Club activities include age/grade appropriate games, adventure sports, reading, homework time, healthy snacks and recreational play. Specialized clubs are available during the school year that offers unique opportunities for youth to participate in. Kid’s Club Afterschool Program partners with numerous organizations throughout the school year to offer an enriching after school program.

 

Location                       Kid’s Club is located at Jackson Elementary School Gymnasium for children in grades K – 2 and Colter Elementary School Cafeteria for youth in grades 3 - 5. 

 

Days of Operation          Kid’s Club follows the Teton County School District calendar for operating days. Kid’s Club operates Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00 p.m. and will be open during early release days from 1:00-6:00 p.m. as well as late arrival days from 8:00-11:00 a.m. Emergency closings will be announced on local radio stations (KMTN, KSGT and KZJH). Kid’s Club is closed on snow days.

 

Fees                             Registration fees are $9.00 per day. Late registrations are $14.00 per day.
