Three Responses Received for Childcare Services RFP

RFP Front Page

The 2020 Childcare Baseline Inventory states that Early Childhood Education (“ECE”) costs twice as much as families can afford. Since the 2020 study was published, the COVID pandemic severely impacted working families’ lives, including further limiting childcare options through temporary or permanent closures and/or reductions in days/times offered.

In 2021, Teton County Commissioners voted to purchase the nonresidential space on the first floor of the Mercill Condos development. Once constructed, this development will provide 30 homes for members of the local workforce on the second and third floors of the building.

In March 2022, Teton County released a Request for Proposals for childcare services at Mercill Condos. Three responses were received and are provided below. The Board of County Commissioners will consider the responses during their June 7, 2022 Regular Meeting.
