Updates to Teton County’s Textile Recycling Program

Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling (ISWR) is happy to announce we are still accepting textiles for recycling!  Due to severe contamination in the textile bin, community members may bring textiles to the Recycling Center during operating hours, Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm.  The public facing textile bin will no longer be available 24/7 near the office door and will be moved within the recycling warehouse for contamination control.  All textiles must be bagged.

Individuals or businesses with large volumes of textiles for recycling should call ahead at 733-7678.

Please follow these guidelines to ensure the longevity and success of the textile recycling program:

  • Textiles must be in reuse condition.
  • Textiles should be clean, dry, and odorless.
  • Linens, curtains, and blankets are accepted.
  • Reusable purses, bags, belts, and shoes are accepted.
  • The occasional missing zipper or button is fine.
  • All textiles must be bagged.

  • No longer accepting raw/ragged materials.
  • No stained clothing or materials.
  • No Bed pillows.
  • No carpets, grease rags, or solvent-soiled items are accepted.
  • No used pet beds.

Please consider donating wearable, quality clothing locally first. Thank you for your compliance with the textile recycling guidelines. Please call 307-733-7678 or email with questions.
