The Lodging Tax provides funding to the Jackson Hole Community Pathways annual budget.
In FY 2017, the Town of Jackson and Teton County added approximately $200,000 to the Jackson Hole Community Pathways budget using Lodging Tax Revenues. These funds were used for the maintenance and repair of existing pathways, as well as maintaining and improving the pathway wayfinding signage system. These services ensure that our pathways are a viable and well-maintained transportation and recreation option for visitors and residents. The use of Lodging Tax funds for these activities and projects reduces the amount of other local government general revenue required for these services.
