Primary responsibilities:
- Serve as County spokesperson for emergency and County-wide incidents; issue press releases, and answer queries from both traditional and social media sources.
- Provide County Commissioners’ with support on issues of interest to the public and media; work with other departments on media and protocol training/advice.
- Proactively seek and participate in public relations opportunities to promote County programs, services, and initiatives.
