Walk in Flu Clinics Offered

Health Reform

Teton County

Health Department

Offers Flu Clinics

Jackson, WY-September 16th, 2019- Health Department officials are encouraging people in the community to get vaccinated for flu and are providing walk-in flu clinics to the public.

People looking to get a flu shot may visit the Health Department located at 460 Pearl Ave. anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays beginning September 23rd and ending on November 15th. All our vaccine this year is mercury and preservative free. We will have quadrivalent vaccine, which provides protection against four strains of the flu virus, and high dose vaccine for adults ages 65+. Anyone who would like to receive a vaccine in addition to a flu shot should call the Health Department for an appointment.

We accept most insurances for payment, cash, checks or credit cards. Please check with your health insurance provider to see if a flu shot is covered by your plan. We will provide a same day payment discount of $30 for those who pay cash, check or credit card for their flu vaccine. If the Health Department charges your insurance company for your flu shot and your insurance plan does not cover flu shots you will be responsible for the paying the bill, which would include $25 for the flu shot and $20 for an administrative fee.

Questions about our clinics or vaccines may be directed to the Teton County Health Department at 307.733.6401.

In addition to the Teton County Health Department other area pharmacies and healthcare providers will have flu vaccine available. Please contact your                                                                   preferred provider for more information on their vaccine availability.
