Searching for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Community Development, or a related field with 7 years’ experience in land use planning forums, including 3 years of supervisory and fiscal management experience. This person has strong communication skills and is comfortable presenting to both the public and professional audiences.
This position will:
- Develop and implement Planning & Building Services (PBS) Department strategies and tactical goals.
- Serve as principal advisor on community development programs and technical issues.
- Manage staff, track and review work activities, and evaluate work performance.
- Consult with and advise developers, contractors, members of the public, various agencies, and elected officials, and attorneys on planning related issues and legal matters.
