Deputy Treasurer, Senior
The Teton County Treasurer’s
Office is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Treasurer, Senior to assist with the processing of property tax payments. We are seeking a motivated individual who is team oriented and can provide excellent customer service as well as the ability to work with the constant interruptions of a busy office.
Primary duties include operation of the property tax remittance processing
software including entering data, endorsing, reconciling daily deposits,
sorting all payments and deposit documents received by mail and walk-in
activity, reviewing batches for processing errors, and researching and the
correction of exception items.
Familiarity with Teton County land records and GIS software is desired. Secondary duties include processing motor
vehicle registrations and general accounting clerical tasks with varied duties
Qualifications include basic accounting skills and advanced computer skills with knowledge of MS Windows software. Any combination of education, training and experience providing the required skills and knowledge is qualifying.
Teton County offers a comprehensive benefit package which includes 100% employer paid health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement benefits, and vacation, sick and holiday leave.
