August 8, 2017, Jackson, WY – The Wyoming Public Service Commission (WPSC) will close a public comment period related to CenturyLink service in Teton County on August, 28, 2017. In order to provide residents and businesses with more information related to the issue, the Teton County Board of Commissioners and CenturyLink are partnering to host an informational public meeting on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in the County Commission Chambers from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

As previously communicated by Teton County, CenturyLink has petitioned the WPSC to be exempt from price regulation in “Zone 2 and Zone 3” service areas (please see the map at the end of this post).

The Board of Commissioners invited representatives from CenturyLink to Teton County to present information and answer questions on the potential outcomes related to the pending decision by the WPSC.

Kristin Lee, Wyoming Regulatory-Legislative Affairs Director for CenturyLink, will be available at next week’s meeting to provide information and answer questions.

Public comment on the issue can be mailed directly to the WPSC (2515 Warren Avenue, Suite 300, Cheyenne, WY, 82002) with reference to the following docket number: Docket No. 70000-1644-TA-17.

Additional information and documentation are available on the Teton County website.
