Did you know that your sales taxes in Teton County dropped on April 1 from 6 cents to 5 cents?
Full funding has been collected for the last of voter-approved projects for the 6th cent. If new projects are approved in the May 2 Specific Purpose Excise Tax (SPET) election, the tax rate will return to 6 cents on Oct. 1, 2017.
If you are a business looking for more information, please visit the Wyoming Department of Revenue's website, linked here.
For more background on the 6th cent in Jackson Hole, download Teton County's SPET brochure, which provides a full explanation of the 6th cent, a.k.a., the SPET.
