The Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department announces that the Wilson Boat Ramp currently has limited accessibility, and the South Park Boat Ramp will open with limited services starting Saturday, April 1, as long as current conditions and weather continues.

Due to the quick transition in weather conditions and rapid snow melt, the Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that South Park Boat Ramp will be accessible for river access on April 1, Parks Manager Andy Erskine said.

Restrooms and recycling services will start on April 15, along with staffing support through Parks and Recreation, for both Wilson and South Park.

River users are encouraged to use good judgement with respect to access as it pertains to parking, trash removal and restroom access while the wet spring conditions persist and until full services are implemented.

"We are excited at the opportunity for the community to begin fishing and recreational access on the river and appreciate everyone treading lightly as early season conditions exist," Erskine said.

Happy boating!
