Stay safe: Watch SPET presentation from home
Jackson, Wyo., Jan. 9, 2017 – With local
authorities urging residents to avoid any unnecessary travel today due to treacherous road conditions, citizens are reminded that they can watch today’s specific purpose excise tax (SPET) presentation from the safety and comfort of their homes or offices.
Today’s Joint Information Meeting of the Town Council
andTeton County Board of County
Commissioners begins at 3 p.m. this afternoon and will
be streamed live over the internet.

Reminder: No public comment will be taken at today’s meeting to allow members of
a SPET committee
to present their recommendations. The Town
and County have scheduled
a second meeting
specifically for the purpose of hearing public comment andproviding time for electeds to discuss the projects. That meeting will be on Jan. 23 at the County Administration Building and is tentatively scheduled for 2-5 p.m.
