An exciting new concept for
Teton County voters in 2016!!
County Clerk Sherry L. Daigle is pleased to introduce the Vote Center concept to Teton County for the 2016 election cycle.
Vote Centers have gained popularity across the country because they allow counties to decrease costly expenses by reducing the number of polling places and staffing while allowing voters greater flexibility in casting their ballots on Election Day. Since 2003, states such as Colorado, Arizona, Indiana, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas and Utah have passed legislation to permit vote centers.
In 2015, the Wyoming Senate passed SF 0052 which defined "Vote Center" and allowed for the county clerk to use vote centers as an option to traditional polling places. Simply stated, a vote center is a polling location where any voter can go to vote, regardless of where they live!
On August 16th, 2016 (Primary Election) and on November 8th, 2016 (General Election) you may vote at ANY one of the following Vote Centers from 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. regardless of where you live in Teton County:
TETON COUNTY LIBRARY
125 Virginian Ln, Jackson, WY
TETON COUNTY/JACKSON RECREATION CENTER
155 E. Gill Ave., Jackson, WY
