TETON COUNTY COMMUNITY RECYCLING CENTER PARKING LOT REPLACEMENT PROJECT

TETON COUNTY, WYOMING

 

Invitation for Bids for pavement removal/re-construction of the entire Teton County Community Recycling Center Parking Lot. The total paved surface area is approximately 73,000 square feet.

 

Notice is hereby given that Teton County, Wyoming (Owner) will receive sealed bids prior to 3:00 P.M. MDT on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at the Teton County Engineering Office, 320 South King Street commonly known as the Old Library Jackson, Wyoming at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project will generally consist of milling/reusing the existing asphalt surface; removing and reusing the existing base course; new asphalt and base course installation; retention pond excavation and reuse of suitable material; storm sewer improvements; curb and gutter/valley gutter improvements; retaining wall construction and other miscellaneous items.

Printed copies are available for purchase from Stinky Prints, Inc. (www.stinkyprints.com), 260 E. Broadway, Jackson, WY 83001. Prospective bidders may also examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

 

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Teton County Engineering Office on Thursday, June 29 at 1:00 PM.

 

No bids will be opened unless sealed and filed with the Owner and accompanied by a money order, certified check, or bid bond payable to the Owner for 5% of the bid amount (to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bidder fails to enter promptly into a written agreement contract and furnish the required documents).

 

The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the project.

 

In accordance with Wyoming Statutes, a five percent (5%) bid preference will apply to bids from Wyoming Resident Contractors.

 

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and irregularities in proposals.
