UW to Offer Pesticide Applicator Training in Five Western Counties

University of Wyoming Extension will be offering private pesticide applicator training for the five western counties of Wyoming.  The class focuses on the safe application of pesticides including understanding the label, keeping proper records, sprayer calibration and personal protective equipment.  The class is required for individuals wishing to apply Restricted Use Chemicals on their own agricultural properties and qualifies participants for a Private Applicator License from the State of Wyoming.

If you are not interested in obtaining a Private Applicator License but would like more information on safely and effectively spraying for weed and insect control in and around your yards and gardens, this would be a great class to attend.

In order to accommodate busy schedules you are welcome to attend at any of the program locations regardless of which county you currently reside.  The schedule is as follows;

March 18th
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Jackson – Teton County Weed and Pest Building
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Marbleton – Marbleton Town Hall

March 19th
