Fire/EMS Adminstration

Jackson Hole Fire/EMS is a full service emergency response organization which manages the fire protection and emergency medical services system for the Town of Jackson and Teton County, Wyoming. The department operates in the areas of general administration, fire prevention, code enforcement, public education, electrical safety, training, and emergency response to fires, medical emergencies, and hazardous incidents. This combination department was organized through a 2004 Joint Powers Agreement between the Town of Jackson and Teton County.

Funding is provided on a 45/55 basis from the Town of Jackson and Teton County.  The Town of Jackson enjoys an Insurance Services Office (ISO) classification of Class 5 within the Town limits.  Anything within 5 miles of Station 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 have an ISO of 7.  Everything else has an ISO rating of 10.
