About Human Resources
The employees of Teton County are the most valuable assets of the organization.
Teton County Government employs approximately 380 regular full-time and part-time employees in 25 departments and agencies. The department also supports County component groups which operate under a governance board; the County Library, Housing Authority, and Weed & Pest.
Vision: Human Resources will be a strategic partner with departments and elected officials, and support them in carrying out their human resource management responsibilities by providing reliable information and value-added initiatives that ensure the County can attract and retain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
Mission: The office of Human Resources works in partnership with managers and their teams, and with individual employees, to provide programs and services that create a work environment of employee empowerment and involvement. Our County values of servant leadership, continuous improvement, teamwork, respect, and integrity are woven into every aspect of human resource management.
