Short-Term Rental Violations
With our tourism industry, it is very enticing to homeowners to rent out their home or guesthouse to tourists on a daily or weekly basis. In most zoning districts this act is strictly prohibited.
No house, guesthouse, or room shall be rented for less than 30 days unless specifically approved for residential short-term rental. These specific areas in the County can be found by clicking here and reading Article II under SECTION 23350 RESIDENTIAL USE LIMITATIONS AND SHORT TERM RENTALS.
