Wildlife Feeding Violations
The feeding of wildlife on your property is strictly prohibited. This includes supplying attractants that are human food, pet food, hay, forage product or supplement, grain, seed or birdseed, or garbage to the following animals: antelope, bighorn sheep, deer, elk, moose, mountain goats, bobcats, bears, mountain lions, lynx, wild bison, wolves, coyotes, fox and raccoons.
Pay special attention to your garbage. Refuse and recycle containers and dumpsters should be designed to be bear resistant. If your containers are not bear resistant they must be stored in a bear resistant building or enclosure and put out on your curb only the day of your refuse pick-up. This practice will lessen the chance of bears or other critters feeding off of your leftovers and in turn make your neighborhood safer.
