Mission Statement
Through the understanding that the only "real" authority we have is bestowed on us by the citizens of Teton County, we provide a professional, fair, friendly and honest service, never devaluating the awesome responsibility of enforcing the law and upholding the Constitution of the United States.
Agency Services
Communications Center
The Teton County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division – also known as “Dispatch” - serves as the nerve center for emergency response in Teton County.

Detention Center
Mission of the Teton County Detention Center is to establish care, custody, and control of the inmates in order to provide a safe and secure environment for the community.

Search and Rescue
In 1993, the Sheriff’s Office formed a volunteer Search and Rescue organization of about 35 fully trained members that take care of most SAR missions at the direction of the Sheriff or his designated appointee. The volunteer group is organized through an elected board of directors.

Training
The Teton County Sheriff’s Office has one full time training officer that manages and oversees all aspects of training within the department and it’s employees.
