If not for the Lodging Tax, some community services may have gone away
or not been possible. The funds have enabled the town and county to maintain services and amenities. To learn more about the services and amenities supported through the lodging tax, click here.
The Lodging tax also allows the Travel and Tourism board to promote Jackson Hole to attract tourists from across the country, during the shoulder season, in hopes of creating a year-round sustainable economy. The Travel and Tourism Board also uses a portion of the money to fund special events that take place throughout the
community that not only appeal to our visitors but illustrate the unique character and qualities our
community offers to visitors and locals alike.
