Thanks to the money collected from the lodging tax, many community
and tourism related events have been partially funded through the Travel and Tourism Board. These events offer our visitors more things to do while here and provide our visitors a glimpse of living in our unique mountain community.
The JHTTB has one sponsorship funding period but awards the events in two cycles.
Events that will occur between September 2017 and March 2018 will be notified of awarded funds following the May board meeting, after the budget has been approved by the Town & County. Events that will occur between April 2018 and June 2018 will be notified of awarded funds after the October board meeting.
