License Plate Series

Current Series and Issue:

As depicted in the header, Wyoming`s current plate series carries the Devil`s Tower National Monument. By law, the plate must contain the county number designation in which issued, followed by the bucking horse and rider emblem and a distinctive number assigned to the vehicle.

Display Requirements:

Wyoming plates are based upon an eight (8) year cycle. In Wyoming, owners of a motorized vehicle, excluding motorcycles, are required to display both a front and rear plate.

Wyoming plates belong to you, remove them when you sell the vehicle.

The Treasurer is charged with statutory obligations which include: the collection of taxes and fees, motor vehicle registrations, distributing the same to taxing entities according to imposed mill levies, etc; managing the investment portfolio pursuant to investment policies approved by the Board of County Commissioners; and of managing the office to serve the citizens and taxpayers of Teton County, Wyoming.
