Vehicle Registration

All motor vehicles for use on the highways of the state; owned by non-residents and remaining in the state for longer than 120 days in a 12-month period; or belonging to a person who becomes a resident of the state. Immediate registration required if vehicle operated for gain or profit, or if owner becomes employed.

The Treasurer is charged with statutory obligations which include: the collection of taxes and fees, motor vehicle registrations, distributing the same to taxing entities according to imposed mill levies, etc; managing the investment portfolio pursuant to investment policies approved by the Board of County Commissioners; and of managing the office to serve the citizens and taxpayers of Teton County, Wyoming.
